Baba taketh, Baba giveth

''Once I was lost, but now I'm found. Once I was blind, but now I see''. I say the words quietly, so I don't anger Baba. I have shaven half of my hair off, I place the hair in front of the shrine as a sacrifice for good luck in the series against Toronto. I stand up and start walking back towards the door. As I get out of the room I feel relaxed, I have just finished my first Baba Ganush ritual. I'm not that religious or anything, but when you make it into the playoffs and go after the championship you might as well turn every possible rock. That is what the guys told me at least. I tried to ask more about Baba Ganush, but nobody said anything, I guess you are not supposed to talk about Baba.

Now that I look at myself from the mirror, I wonder if the sacrifice was worth it? The luscious and thick mane is not as powerful now, what if I lost half of my strength after cutting half of my hair off? I guess it does not matter if the team in return gains good fortune. Time will tell if Baba Ganush blesses the Seattle Bears once more.
