The Cinderella story of the VHLM playoffs will come to an end tomorrow night when the series finale between the Miami Marauders and the Halifax 21st will conclude. The series tied at 3 games a piece has been a back and forth war between the two teams with only Halifax being able to put up a win streak. Miami won Game 1 immediately shocking the majority of fans, most of which by the way were expecting a sweep. Halifax retaliated by stomping on Miami in game 2 and then scarcely squeaking by in game 3, This would kill any teams morale, but Miami showed they aren't an ordinary team. Miami responded with a massive game 4 winning 5-2, this was the first game that showed there was more than luck and great goaltending that was fueling Miami's surprise run. Game 5 saw Halifax respond once again suppressing Miami to just 2 goals as they put in 5, But even with there backs against the walls , Miami refused to back down. Game 6 saw another overtime thriller with a 3-2 victory by Miami once again after an outstanding performance by Rara Rasputin, which brings us to a highly anticipated game 7 set for tomorrow night. This been anything but predictable meaning game 7 will most likely be no different. At this point it's a coin toss between the two teams. Halifax needs to keep the pressure they had all series and Miami needs stellar goaltending once again if either teams want to go through. Either way Miami has already won, winning the respect of most who've payed attention to this series.
