Telkster 550
Moscow's run came to stop early in the playoffs after losing round 1 in 5 games to Helsinki. Although Moscow may have been favorites to win the series, Helsinki's on paper roster matched up in almost every spot, and once the moral was gone, the series slipped away pretty quickly. "when we lost game 3-4, that was when the realizations started pouring in. We did what we could, but it was just too much I guess." Telker commented. Moscow came into the year with aspirations for a deeper playoff run, and while that never really manifested, the glory came in the regular season. Moscow went on a unexpected lights out run, while similar teams lagged behind all season. "I think we may have gotten so used to winning, that we thought the show won't really start until the conference final, league final etc. We got blindsided big time." Telker said. Despite a few changes that Victor will be forced to make this offseason due to retirement, it should still be a beefy Moscow team next year, with every chance at getting the cup.
