Party in the USSR

The Season 40 draft class is still very young and it remains to be seen how good these prospects will become. There is one thing that gives at least two of the prospects a big question mark and that is dedication. The big question is “Are these prospects dedicated enough to make it in the VHL?” , we are talking about the Vodkaholic Boris Belov of the Moscow Red Wolves and party boy Thomas O’Malley of the Turku Outlaws.

Recently their teams played a game together, one which was won by the Outlaws. Even though Belov only got around four minutes of ice time he had enough time to invite O’Malley to travel to Moscow with him after the game to visit a good friend of him who had his own club.

O’Malley of course did not say no to that, free vodka he thought! So after the game he sneaked on the Red Wolves airplane and went to Moscow for a night of clubbing. Dimitriy, the owner of the club greeted him dear friend Belov with open arms. Boris! Glad to have you back my friend. And who did you bring?

Hi Dimitriy, this is O’Malley, a good friend! Get him a bottle of your homebrew vodka, let’s show him how Russians party….

It’s not sure what happened between then and when he woke up again, but suddenly two days had passed and he had to take a flight back to Turku. Whatever happened, it likely was a blast. O’Malley will definitely party in the USSR again. He does suddenly have a vip pass of the club in his wallet, so he was a guest they loved to see there.
