Dawson set for VHLM draft

The VHLM Dispersal Draft is happening tonight at 5 p.m. EST and one of the biggest questions is where will Phoenix Dawson land? After the Toast Player Agency's newest client declared for the VHL, it seemed there wasn't much hope for the center as Toast's previous players have failed to make an impact in the league.

 

"I haven't spoken to one team," admitted Dawson. "I figure that's because I'm late declaring into the draft but I promise to any team that is interested that I have a lot to offer any team. I'm looking forward to seeing how tonight pans out."

 

While Dawson may not be one of the highly-touted prospects in tonight's draft, there is still promise for the player coming from a known player agency. The challenge is going to be keeping Dawson invested in the league following the draft, which it seems that the player agent is ready to do this time around.

 

We may be seeing a real gem hiding in the second or third round tonight. With the claim that no VHLM teams have reached out at this point, it is expected that Dawson may slide even further than the third round. Make sure to tune in tonight to see where everyone ends up!
