Eeli Rantanen projects to be a player like his older brother Mikko. Unlike his brother he is much more into scoring. He had been idolizing Alex Ovechkin since his junior years. Currently undrafted and unpicked by anyone he relies himself the most since he has made his own path from the beginning

Pros:

Scoring - Eeli Rantanen has a massive wristshot, unlike any other player of his age. He grew up in same streets as Patrik Laine did and they held many gatherings in the local ice rink of Tesoma where they shit a few hundred pucks a night many times a week

Movement - Rantanen knows where to be at the time to score. His eye on offense is immaculate and he relies heavily on his teammates to clear some ice for him to get open, which he does very well

Strength - He is 5'7 or 170centimeters tall and weighs in at 88kilos or 194lbs with an absolute work of art of a frame. Clearly his fitness and strength training during his peewee times have paid off because this guy is a tank

Skating - they trained a ton of Shooting with Laine but they also kept their skating skills matched. They often tried to race around the rink to see which one of them was faster. Eeli won most of the races by nearly almost 4 seconds every time. Patrik won a few races here and there but Eeli learns from his misyakes very easily and isnt going to lose a second time

Cons:

Defensive game - Rantanen isnt the most talented guy to what comes to defending. Seems like he always had a mentality that defenders would handle defending along with other forwards in his line

Passing - Eeli is a goal hogger by nature. Whenever he gets the puck he will look to shoot, which might come an issue as the season gets longer, when his teammates get frustrated when he doesnt share the responsibility. These kinds of things affect the locker room atmosphere, you know

Leadership - This guy is still young and is looking to improve but my god what an awful leader this guy is. Being a Child its not easy to act accordingly from time to time but on the rink you have to maintain your calm. Eeli Rantanen might get frustrated easily if his team is losing, and he is not giving enough in that situation, letting his team down himself which might End up in them losing by a much bigger marginal.
