Post Draft Thoughts

I got everything I think I wanted honestly when I was drafted by the London United.

1. I got an active locker room

Okay this is a big one. I really want to be in locker rooms that are active, but also not spam heavy. London is perfect for that, plus I have the added bonus of knowing a few of the guys from EFL so it’s a huge win. I love it 

 

2. I got a rebuilding team I can help in the future

this was huge for me, I really wanted to be able to have a team that’s “bad” now and they can get high picks and rebuild while I’m in the minors and I’ll come up and he’ll bring them back into the fold. Plus I’ll be able to help London win their first ever championship, which is huge for me

 

3. It’s in a big market

This wasn’t at the top of my list of importance but it helped for immersion since this would be a huge want for players, due to jersey sales and exposure.

 

4 (Bonus). It’s near my player’s home nation

Bad news is that the British and Irish are rivals haha. But I’ll mend the divide
