So, about one third of the season has passed and it’s time to take a look at Isau’s progression.  He has played in 27 games and has amassed a total of 26 points, 9 goals and 17 assists.  Most of his points have come by way of the power play where he had originally been playing first line minutes.  That has been reduced to second line minutes as well as an overall reduction in playing time going from second to the third line.  It is doubtful that Isau will manage his near point per game pace given the limitation on his ice time.  He has only 8 penalty minutes which indicates he has good discipline while on the ice.  He periodically shows his toughness having accounted for 24 hits.  Overall, it has been an inauspicious beginning to Isau’s season with the Reapers.

When asked about his mediocre production, Isau replied that he wasn’t playing for the stats, he was playing for the Reapers. He said that whether he played elite minutes or journeyman minutes, it didn’t matter,  He was there to to his best in whatever role he was cast..  You can’t fault his attitude !!
