Woowee been hanging out with a few teammates at the local pub, smoking some fire and minding our own business until a group of minor leaguers walked in and challenged us to dance dance revolution, it was an easy decline as I glugged my drink back but they weren't leaving.

First up was Rose and a player from the Reapers, difficulty up, song selected and they were off to the races, dabbing and can canning until both players couldn't anymore, winner: Rose by a landslide. Taking the first win of a best of three felt good but the youngins were hungry for some clout so it was not even close to being over.

After defeating the first youngster I stepped up to the plate to face the next, it was a player from Las Vegas. This time the challenge was different, a drinking contest, as I lifted my cup and started to drink my frothy English beer I could feel the muscles in my legs began to give out, not wanting to forfeit I took the damage from the untimely fall and focused on drinking. The race was close and the players had to check the pubs security footage to find out who won. It was only 0.86 seconds that seperated them and the huddled together drunks were leaning closer and closer to the monitor, as they viewed the final sip it was the Vegas who came out victorious.

Not feeling as motivated as before and a little burnt out from the moving around, the United players gathered for a short break. The VHLMers argued the whole time but the blunt was too loud to hear their voices.

Emerging out of a smoke cloud the players from London were ready to defeat the kids and go to bed, the final challenge was a risky one but the hometown veteran was ready.

Final contest, the rockwall climb, a.k.a. behind the pub in a dark alley way without saftey gear, true assassins creed style. Both players stepped up to the starting line beside the recycling bin, they had to climb to the top of the bar, whoever made it up first would take the victory, 3... 2... 1... GO! Jones stumbles at the start, the kid flys up a fence and onto a roof, Jones gets up and chooses a different route, the shed, he climbs up but gets his shirt caught on a nail, the kid continues to advance until he loses a shoe and slows down trying not to slip on the steel roof.

The duel was fierce and the crowd outside started to grow, even the bartender came out to watch.. This was the best part of the night for me because after locating the washroom I realized I was alone with bottle of liquor calling my name, best part is I still have the roach from the blunt we smoked earlier.

Almost to the top both racers start to decline, making a 15 minute challenge into an hour easily. The crowd was starting to get angry until one of them wakes up again but this time takes a deep breath and a few more steps, giving his friends hope, the other contestant, asleep in a swing chair on somebodies balcony.

Finishing up a bottle of gin and feeling fine off the mariquana it was time for Kankkunen to return to support his teammate, rolling another blunt just in case. You could hear the ooos and awws echoing down the alleyway and the race was still on, noticing Jones still moving a discombobulated Kankkunen yells out "Heepgut his man" trying to motivate a tired Jones, "Bluntrolly" he shouts again, noticing the blunt from almost 30 feet up Joned pushed on, moving up the siding of the pub and eventually getting to the final obstacle, the satellite pole.

It was only another 30 minutes later, a loss of both shoes and another nap but he did it, one finger at a time and one toe at a time but the barefooted danger man reaches the top!

After the dust settled (or smoke cloud) the once foes turned buddies shook hands, gave their goodbyes and parted ways, the London players never finding out who they were. With a victory in the bag and an adventurous night behind them the United players return to their hotel rooms boasting about the win, stumbling into mailboxes and lawn ornaments along the way but they were still happy, even if they lost a pair of shoes in the process and had bruises all over their bodies

700+ real words and a few made up ones ;)

Review

Not often I see anything written in first-person, cool stuff! Really enjoyed reading through these competitions and the drinking contest was a real nail-biter. Maybe bring this back as a series. Multiple competitions, a leaderboard and everything.
10/10
