Hextall enjoying a break before playing for the rest of the the season

Jaxx Hextall got a fairly long break after playing the first 31 games of the season, the Legions backup then went in to play his eight backup games with only one game off during that time when Hextall went in for one. Hextall also relieved the backup for one of his poor games and ended up stopping all 12 shots he faced. He asked what Hextall had been up to in the mean time. "I wouldn't say to much, I explored more than I usually did during our trips to each team's location, normally I'm a sucker for just staying in the Hotel the whole time but I figure I might as well explore. I bought some souvenirs, tried out a bunch of different food, and went to some famous locations. I felt it would help reset my mind and be ready for playing the rest of the games for the season. Going to be very busy that's for sure." No doubting Hextall's words there.

 

in 33 games played Hextall's record is 14-16-2 with 2 shutouts. A 916 save percentage and 3.30 goals against average are his stats.

 

To look a little deeper Jaxx has faced 1266 shots which is exactly 1000 less than what he faced last season of course there's still much of this season left. 106 goals have been scored on him this far in his 1926 minutes played. Jaxx so far hasn't let more than 200 get by him a season, 191 being the closest , it's possible that might happen as he still has 31 games to play, only time will tell.
