Peace 1,532
Alright... The Legion have been officially eliminated from the playoffs, but we expected that as a group this season; Killinger, Magnum and the London United are heading to the post-season, so we don't exactly know where their pick will be, but Toronto's will be an early one (between 1-6th overall). I had held hope we'd be able to squeeze into a wildcard spot, especially after an enjoyable seven or eight game win streak recently, but it simply wasn't meant to be and we bowed out with some respect at least. There are a lot of positives though. Our offense has been absolutely brilliant -- second in the league -- which has given plenty of our players a very productive season, some of which I would consider award worthy. Consider that Merrick is one shy of triple digits, and I honestly think that he'll be the first Legion to reach that mark since I've been the GM! Speaking of awards... here's hoping Anigbogu is the most improved player from the regular season. From eleven points to what he has now... well if he doesn't downright win it, I'd be stunned or irritated, but I haven't looked into that particular category just yet. I plan on doing a more in depth breakdown of the 'most improved' statistically shortly, but I haven't decided yet how I'll do that breakdown or how much effort I want to put into it. I suppose we'll see shortly though! Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/96882-toronto-officially-eliminated/ Share on other sites
