It was a tough series. Sasky played their hearts out, and almost got us in the end. But we have this playoff clutch. I should know, Juniper was on the Miami Marauders last year(8th seed to Cup). This Aces team is special. It reminds me of our Marauders, who won the cup last year. Actually, the Aces are far more talented and deep than the Marauders ever were. But both had that clutch, the thing that allowed them to get that crucial goal in overtime, or the game winner with a minute left. For the Aces, the players who showed the most clutch that game were Hex Rose, our earning-machine rookie who'll probably go first overall in the VHLM draft, who scored to tie it up with mere minutes remaining. But the winner, at least for this game, was my man Linus Zetterstrom, who got an assist on the first goal of the game and then came in clutch in OT to give the Aces the win. Zetterstrom's point totals haven't gone unnoticed, as he's tied for the lead in defenceman scoring and right there on the league leaderboard. But who's first on that list? Jordan Tate, another deadline pickup, who has eleven points in seven games. That top line of Tate, Juniper, and Connor Sim has been on fire recently. All three are in the top ten in league scoring for the playoffs.

Well, that wraps it up. If you're reading this, I hope you enjoyed it. Go Aces!
