Gooningitup 1,290
Some reports have suggested Askarov may not be a Wrangler much longer. Well the playoffs continue, speculation is that Askarov may be on the move. After a 8-0-2 record Askarov wants more ice. He even was started in a game, that no longer counted as it was ruled by the league for cheating. Askarov before the game was rendered moot. Had 63 saves on 67 shots in a 4-3 loss in overtime. He was a beast, and his continued development means he does not want to just sit an be a back up for much longer. With next season drawing closer it will be curious to watch this season unfold. Last 2 weeks have been solid heavy training for Askarov who is aiming to just keep rising the ranks and be the best goalie he can be. He aims to be the best player he possibly can be heading into next season. Currently Askarov is on pace to be one of if not the best earner for his agency history. Which explains why he is not just happy sitting by an waiting. He wants to be a star, and hopefully win a cup or 2. Time will tell just how things unwind in season 76. Will he remain a Wrangler, or is he fated for somewhere else. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/97266-next-season-looming/ Share on other sites
