Eagles heads to Calgary

With the 3rd overall pick, the Wranglers selected Tom Eagles. Now that everyone knows where Tom will be playing we spoke to him about playing in Calgary and what he thinks he will accomplish in his first season.

 

" I am excited to go to Calgary and I knew a few days beforehand that Calgary is the team I would be going to " Said Tom " It's exciting being drafted 3rd overall and at the same time to a team that finished with 100 points last season. They are a very good, playoff contending team and I can't wait to get started to help them out"

 

Tom is expected to stay with the big team this season and will play some significant time. Hopefully Tom can handle the pressure from the start and prove to the league that he deserved to be selected number 3 overall.

 

" I have been training hard in the off-season. I have improved on my defensive side of the game and I also have bulked up a little and have started throwing my body around " Said Tom " I think everyone will be surprised by the difference in the type of player I was with the Reapers and the type of player I will be with the Wranglers."
