Hoopydog 195
It’s safe to say that Artair McCloud has been enjoying the start of his VHL career and it is definitely showing in his performances out on the ice. Currently, he has put up 5G and 6A for a total of 11P in 17GP in which, he has been playing just under 17 minutes a game. If he continues to produce points at this pace, he could be looking at a 50, potentially 60-point season. Not bad for a 3rd liner. I think people have been sleeping on McCloud going into this season as he’s not a huge name around the league nor does he play a huge role on the team but what people can’t ignore now is that Artair puts up points. It’s still early days in the season yet but McCloud is definitely looking like a great pick and prospect for the Riga Reign and some GMs could end up kicking themselves for sleeping on him. As for the Reign, their form has started to improve. Netminder Calvin Harvey has returned to his post as starting goaltender and have him in net has drastically changed things for Riga. After going 0-8 to start the year, they are now 6-3 in their last 9 so it does look like the Riga train is getting going and you do not wanna be caught in it’s tracks when it hits full speed.
