Being demoted again is tough. This seems to be a common thing for Justin Lose. From being placed on the 2nd line with Reapers to being demoted to the 2nd line with Mexico City. He just can't crack that top line with a team. This changed when he joined the Riga squad at the start of the season. After failing to impress and remaining scoreless he was demoted to the 2nd line again. Lose released a statement to the media following the transition:

"It's tough. You work so hard in the offseason and you still come up short. I worked all offseason for the chance at the top line and I let everyone down because of it. My production didn't impress anyone and I was demoted to the 2nd line. You want to be the best player on the ice every game. Sometimes you have to step back and look at yourself and see if you really are VHL quality. I've asked myself that a lot these past few games."

Justin Lose continues to lose his confidence in this season. Will he turn it around after his bold claims that he will be the RotY at the start of the season? Only Justin Lose can make that happen.

Keep chugging along, demotions don't always mean a bad thing.. With a few extra breaths each shift you'll be able to focus on your game and get more comfortable in the VHL!

Good read.
