It's another Sunday, and that means that it's time for another rush job for getting TPE.

  1. Seems like scoring is much higher this season than the last. We already have 5, 40 point scorers, and I think a couple of players can crack 130 points this season. I don't know why this is the case this season, but I'm definitely not complaining as Su is having another killer season.
  2. Su is now 4th in all-time scoring for VAN, passing HHH recently! I'm around 120 points away from Jeff Downey, who's leading the franchise. Although I might not reach that this season, I'll still have three more seasons after this one to reach it. The only way that I don't claim the franchise leading spot is if I leave VAN this season.
  3. VAN is killing it. Currently, we're first in the league and leading the NA division by 9 points. The only worrying thing is that it seems like in the past two seasons, whoever gets the Victory Cup never wins the championship. Hopefully, we'll end up more like the S73 Seattle Bears than last season's Calgary.
  4. Warsaw has also been doing very well this season. I admit I'm a bit proud of them since I was there in its founding season. Very impressive work by Muff on building a team that looks like it can win a cup. A lot of credit has to go to Ajay Krishna, who looks like he'll be one of the best goalies in the future.
  5. On the other hand, London has been looking very shaky so far. It's surprising, as you'd assume with a veteran user in Mcwolf and a similar team to what they had last season, London would be doing much better than they are. The only thing I can assume that's dragging them down is their goaltending core. But even with their lack of a solid starting goalie, their defence and offence should be enough to carry their team to more wins.
  6. The EU is scary this season. Apart from VAN, who looks like they can be a championship contender, the rest of the NA are mainly middle-top tier teams. The EU, on the other hand, has 3 elite teams that could all pose a serious threat in the playoffs. We see Moscow dominating again, and Helsinki has been doing what they've been doing for the past 4 seasons or so. A big surprise that I already mentioned is the presence of Warsaw. Although, if you look at their team, there's not much to be surprised about. Last season they also did very well, and have a well-balenced team.
  7. I saw some discussion about changing the STHS system. Personally, I don't think it's necessary and the primary reason I've seen people want a different engine for is more line customization. I will admit the current STHS has some flaws, but those flaws aren't large enough to warrant an engine change. Also changing to a new engine could cause a whole bunch of new issues. I remember before in the testing of STHS 2.0 or something, teams would be getting blown out of games 10-0 left and right.
