jRuutu 2,484
The playoffs are soon here. The players and teams are working on getting everything just right. I'm not any different, I have been working on my shootout moves a lot lately. As you maybe know every win is huge in the playoffs, every goal is huge in the playoffs, so it's worth it to turn every rock. Not a secret that I'm not a shootout specialist, these last few years have been the first seasons where I have been among the players who get to shoot in the shootouts. I do quite well in practice, but in the actual shootouts during the games I could be better. If I'm not mistaken, I have 1 shootout goal in five or six tries during this ongoing season, so not ideal. That is the reason why I have focused more and more on my moves. After hours and hours of hard work, I think I have found my new go-to move. I call it the ''Equalizer''. Imagine this, after the first shooters we are down by one. Then it's my time to shine. Instead of trying to make some fancy play, I will run the goalie over and get the mental edge for the rest of the shootout. The goalie is going to be shaken, the players in the other team are going to be angry as hell, we get the edge. Sure, I will get kicked out and maybe even suspended, but in the playoffs, it will be worth it. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/99687-new-move/ Share on other sites
