ThePerfectNut 563
Luke Thornton had a bad season despite the fact that 330 hits with only 137 penalty minutes. Thornton was a -15 and only had 19 goals this season. He tried his best to get back from what he did in his sophomore season. He knows what to work on this off-season. My physical game will still be apart of one of the best in the league, but I need to work on my defence. I need to improve my speed in our own zone, my awaraness on the ice, my poke checking should become effective for next season and I will try to lay my body more to block shots at the right time. I also need to found back my scoring touch. I believe I had 32 goals last season and it came all the way down to 19 goals. Not only that, but I could not set up my team very well so we need to practice together a lot in the off-season so we can create some chemistry. We the hiring of a new GM and a lot of retirements on the team. Calgary will go on into a new era and Thornton is glad to be apart of it at the start. It will be hard at first, but he is here to stay and win. I believe I got 5 years left in me and we got a franchise goalie in Askarov for the next 5 years as well. We just need to build the team back up and hope it all goes well Jubis 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/99975-luke-thornton-on-his-off-season/ Share on other sites
