Telkster 550
After the Storm swept the first round, they have now gone down 2 games to none to the Kings. Game one saw the Minnesota lose 6-4, while the second was closer but painful with a 5-4 loss. The Kings stack up very close to Storm on paper. Telker said the team can’t forget defence while in the playoffs. “It’s fun to rush up 3 or 4 guys up the ice. But if you don’t tighten up holes on the back end, it can come to bite you. And it has in these first two games.” Said Telker. Minnesota resume the series tomorrow with games 3 and 4 set on the schedule. The Storm can only afford to win now, as they need to win 4 out of 5 games minimum to make it through the series now. “If we can tighten up without sacrificing too much offence, then we’ll be back in the series in no time.” Telker commented.
