  1. Here is your summary which seems to have covered everything:

6 teams, 20 games and then mini playoff series. Everyone all right with that?

Each team would have a minimum roster of 6F 4D 1G and each team must fill those needs before we continue drafting, at which point we add the potential for extra lines pending on the amount of players. No actives should get excluded from this thing. Everyone fine with that?

Team names. Personally I like it best if we just draw completely at random from HoF players from all era's. But I'm also fine if we theme it based on various different era's in the league, and do the whole random drawn from S1-10 etc. What does everyone prefer here?

Lastly, TPE rewards. Nobody really seemed to complain about Sterlings suggestion of TPE payout. To refresh your memory, here is the suggested idea.

" Members would get 1 TPE for every correctly guessed team they chose. Well what the hell is in it for the General Managers then? Well nothing! No, I'm kidding of course. Every General Manager would receive 2 TPE for for their participation and the winner would receive an extra 5 TPE, the second place team 3 TPE and third and fourth place teams 1 TPE each. That seems fair to me."

"Members would get 1 TPE for every correctly guessed team they chose"  . What is exactly meant with that? Like predictions on the final standings?

  2. James Platts Welfare Program
Any member may claim 2 TPE/week on weeks no point task is done, unless they are on a Pension Plan.

VHL Pension Plan I – Members who have created one 400+ TPE player claim 3 TPE/week on weeks no point task is done.
VHL Pension Plan II - Members who have created two or more 400+ TPE player claim 4 TPE/week on weeks no point task is done.

For an overview of the eligible players: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmcfC4GrdHZDdDg1cUxCbS10ZVBHbnY5UF83RzE2MFE
There are still some unassigned players, feel free to post the missing username - player combinations in this thread, then I will update this.

If this is your first player, do not worry if you are not on the list. You will be eligible for two points.

Keep in mind - the 3/4 TPE upgrades only count if you have a previous player that is above 400 TPE, current players do not apply

  3. Threats made against LeBeau.

The life of an Aidan Shaw winner is not easy these days. After getting his eight shut out of the year LeBeau got threatened by the Captain of the Helsinki Titans, Ethan Osborne.  Due to LeBeau shutting out the current VHL Champions he got annoyed by the stellar play of the Toronto Legion goaltender. We are not even close to the play-off’s yet but Osborne is trying to get his most feared opponent to fear him instead.

At the press conference after the game Ethan Osborne gave a very detailed description of what he wanted to do with the goaltender. He would run down LeBeau in the next game, which followed by a step by step description of what he planned on doing.

For the Toronto Legion Niklas Lindberg attended the press conference and as an answer to Osborne his words Lindberg described what he could expect if he tried doing that. He would definitely leave the ice in a lot of pain. The former rookie of the year can do anything, so if the Legion needs a goon to take out Osborne, the only question people can ask their selves is:  “Why not Lindberg? “

The weirdest part of the press conference was that Remy LeBeau was just sitting there. The captain of the Toronto Legion basically just ignored the Legion captain. He didn’t seem to be paying attention to him; he was just enjoying his flawless victory over the Titans. If the teams will meet again though, he already informed his teammates that they can just bash Osborne in the net and that LeBeau will take care of him himself.

The Legion surprised the VHL in Season 29 by shutting out a lot of their opponents, the team got known for their defensive approach and surprised everybody with their cup run. When looking back at that victory it was also the birth of the current Legion line up. After the cup victory the team went in an immediate rebuild in order to get even stronger and go for a cup run a few years after. For Sandro Desaulniers the time has now come to get another cup as Toronto Legion member. While the conference is still stacked and it’s clear which three teams will have to battle eachother in order to reach the finals, the Legion General Manager is positive:

We have a really solid line up, we might not have the top end TPE earners on the ice, but we do have chemistry. Guys like Niklas Lindberg and Jamie Shetler have insane chemistry on the second line and Teemu Lehtinen is playing the best hockey of his life. It’s hard to imagine some of our best players come from the second round of the draft. Anyone out of the Meute, Wranglers and the Legion is able to win the title, so the question everybody can ask now is “Why not us?”.

The Legion are ready to go for an upset, the Quebec City Meute may be the favorites but the Legion have shown that they are also able to beat them even with their back-up goaltender in net. That’s what the Legion is shooting for, an upset during the playoffs. Expect the catchphrase “Why Not Us?” to be trending on social media as Twitter soon.
