Tbf to Spartan, a couple of the people applying for Riga we're M GMs so they had to wait for that hire to do anything.

The Houston GM is unilaterally picking the date/time.

Yeah I'm not here to publicly bash VHL administration, but the M schedule depends on the VHL's schedule just about every season (between us potentially losing GMs to big-league hirings and their league getting priority in scheduling things like drafts). If the VHL isn't set, then neither are we. It's unfortunate but true that this offseason featured delays in lots of processes that are necessary for us to make those same choices on our end. We've talked all about this internally and we're in agreement that it's less than ideal for the M prospects, so I'm sorry it's played out like this.
