1. What are your initial thoughts after our second straight Finals loss? A little disheartening especially after losing last season after going up 3-1 and the fact it's too the same team that's exploiting a weakness in STHS. But I want us to keep chugging along I feel like we're very close. Maybe with a bit of sim luck and some more magic from @Spartan we'll get over that hump. I really like the team he's built so many active people and just awesome people to chat with and share those MOSCOW MOSCOW MOSCOW vibes. 2. What are you looking at focusing on for your player this offseason? Survive depreciation without and any fighters and many put a few extra points into strength but we'll see how much tpe I have left after I account for depreciation and how much I'll need for the next two seasons. 3. What prospect do you think is most exciting for this upcoming draft? There are so many exciting prospects in this draft I'm looking forward to seeing who we select. I'd love to add one of the players we select onto San Diego, that would be a nice development path. 4. Do you think there are any Menace players that will get an Award for last seasons performance? I know Moreau will get one for leading the league in assists and I feel like he has a shot at the Valiq but it's a tight race. Markinson @STZ should win the Wylde trophy and maybe even the Labatte but you never really know how those votes go. 5. What does Moscow need to do differently next season, to return to the Finals, but change the outcome? Honestly I have no idea we tried copying meta but that was not as successful as we had hoped. Maybe we need to go full meta or just stay the course and hope for the best. Of course going full meta is impossible with Moreau on the team (sorry everyone). 6. Do you have any interest in the NHL right now, or have all the COVID delays killed your interest? It's a bit of a bummer but I try to watch at least 2-3 games a week still. Covid is a real bummer and has been for the last two years. I've been trying to plan my wedding and that's been a bit of a dark cloud over everything as well.

Quoting @Nykonax in the conference finals after game 5. Quebec I mean Vancouver continues to exploit the 40 passing 99 scoring meta where you volume shoot teams to death. The best part is you don't even need active members or members that put any effort. It's a great way to build a strong base for the league and get members who actually offer something of substance to stay. But honestly it's not Nykonax fault or Vancouver since there are no rules to stop this sort of team building or player building and Simon T isn't going to change the sim engine any time soon. The only answer lies with the higher ups but the answer isn't an easy one since the damage is already done and trying to fix it is a bit of a tight rope walk. I would say this version of the VHL is a bit more boring then when players had 99s across the board, since at least that was a bit random sim luck, but this feels more exploitive. Now Moscow just lost back to back finals to Vancouver and I can't pretend that Moscow didn't try some sort of meta line up this season. But with Moreau having 95 passing it feels like a gut punch since my player could easily be the reason that Moscow hasn't found success. I do understand that this vhl.com article might come across as salty. But in the mid Season 50s Quebec lost back to back finals to Helsinki and that had a totally different feeling since there was no outlier that was being exploited. Maybe @jRuutu @solasand so on can give me their two cents. Solution? Do we stop players from having such a large gap from passing to scoring? That seems like a good start just to curb the current state of things @Beketov. Or do we not allow players to go over 95 scoring if their passing is below 80. I have no idea, but I do know that this current version of things isn't it and I'm losing interest in sim results, despite winning an award this season.

1. What do you think went well in the series against Malmo? What do you think didn't go as well? Honestly both teams are evenly matched so any series between the two would be a toss up. 2. Malmo apparently had been on an 18-1-1 run since the trade deadline. As of this point, we're up on them 3-2. Why do you think we were able to stop Malmo's momentum when other teams couldn't? I feel like we changed our lines a bit too much during the regular season so we didn't find the best mix against Malmo. But clearly in the playoffs we did. 3. The Seabasstard (@Seabass) was Moscow's nomination for the Most Improved Player award, going from 39-46-85 to 49-78-127. What did he do to improve so significantly? I think the chemistry between Markinson and Seabasstard is what allowed them to excel this season. Their builds seem to work very well together. Also they're both very strong defensively. 4. Hard Markinson (@STZ) is currently the top scoring defenseman in the playoffs, and number 2 in scoring in the playoffs overall. Why is he playing so well? Have all of Aurelian Moreau's penalty minutes led to Markinson playing a larger role on the ice? I think Markinson will out score Moreau next season and these playoffs are his coming out party. 5. Duncan Idaho has yet to really get going, to put up points like the MVP caliber player we know he is. What does he need to do in order to start putting up dominant numbers again? I feel like the whole first line has under performed but mostly Moreau and Idaho. I guess we just aren' t meta enough. 6. Fun question! I bought a new desk about a month ago, but could use some help getting some desk accessories. I've got one monitor, a set of bluetooth speakers, a lamp, and a headphone holder that doubles as a wireless stand. I've also got a a pen holder and some hockey pucks. What would you recommend for me to get for my desk? That's a lot of stuff already. Maybe a super comfortable chair if you don't already or a cup holder on the chair or desk.

Review: The rule seems like a good idea to curb cheaters, like the Vancouver Wolves who abuse the meta. As far as the actual rules implemented 3-4 sentences is good but 75 words minimum is not 3-4 sentences. I've typed three sentences and haven't even hit 50 words. Overall 5/10 on the rule change good intention but poor execution. @DollarAndADream
