  1. 1. Founder's Cup Predictions: The Halifax 21st have been tearing up the league this season. Anything can happen but I would be surprised if they didn't win it all.

    2. Preferred Team to be drafted to:  As a Canadian, I would love to play for a Canadian franchise, however any team that drafts me, I will put in a full effort to make myself and the team better. I don't really have a team specifically I wouldn't be happy to be drafted to.

    3. Off-season focus: In the off-season, I'm going to continue to focus on my offensive skills. I've managed to rack up a few points but I know I can be better.

    4. Preferred Team: If I could pick a team to be drafted to, I would love to play for Halifax, being an East Coaster myself.

    5. What do I bring to the team?: I would believe that currently, I am a solid depth centre that can play 3rd or 4th line minutes. With my constant training and dedication, I believe I can evolve in effective 1st or 2nd line offensive centre option.

    6. Favourite San Diego moment: My favourite moment so far has been meeting the guys in the locker room and getting to know some of them. The help I've received from management has been unparalleled, especially Rockstar. Meeting the defenseman, @Prout has been a pleasure.

  2. 1. What is your favorite kind of food and why?

Macaroni & cheese takes the trophy home on this one. Classic and easy to make.

    2. Any thoughts on NHL 21?

Pre-ordered it, played it early through EA Play, and I have to say, I am not disappointed yet. I am enjoying the Be A Pro mode, and HUT Rush feels really fresh.

    3. Considering it's October and we're approaching Halloween, what's your favorite horror movie?

Looking back now, it may not get the same love, but I remember the first time I watched Freddy vs Jason, I loved it and I was terrified at the same time.

    4. What was your favorite brand thing to get as a kid trick or treating?

Reese's peanut butter cups without question.

    5. Cake or Pie?

Definitely pie. Lemon Meringue or Coconut Cream for me.

    6. What's your message to the team to close out these finally weeks of the season?

We may be on a long slump right now, but we are growing as a team and with the right improvements and the proper training, we will do better next year.

  3. After being signed by Marlins GM, Rockstar, earlier today, Bradley Senjo suited up for the first two games of his VHLM career. "This is something I've been dreaming about my whole life. I just want to play smart and help my team get the win." Senjo said.

Game one against the Mexico City Kings ended in a 6-0 blowout. Despite the result, Senjo did show promise in this game. He went 7 for 12 in the face-off dot, and logged almost 12 minutes of ice-time.

Game 2 was a much closer affair. The Marlins came back to tie the game against the Las Vegas Aces late in the second period with a shorthanded goal from Korpikoski, assisted by Senjo and Mitchell, and a power-play goal from Raphael Switzer. That was Senjo's second helper of the night, also assisting on another Korpikoski goal earlier in the period.

This game needed a shootout to determine the winner. Aces forward Gary Rush ended it when he scored on Fletcher.

Look out for Senjo in the Marlins next game vs the Saskatoon Wild tomorrow. Hopefully, his contributions can help break this two-game slump his team is in.

  4. Bradley Senjo:

    1. Favourite thing about the league: I've only been in the league a couple hours, but I find the support you get from your team to be very helpful. As someone who is just starting, the guidance has been great.

    2. Type of player I want to be: I want to develop into a play-making center with a scoring touch. Set up teammates for lots of scoring chances but also able to come through in critical moments of the game.

    3. Most important thing in a locker room: Communication is key. Knowing how your teammates are doing and being there for them helps grow the bonds in the locker room and will translate onto the on-ice performance.

    4. Favourite logo: As for my favourite logo, it's hard to say. There are so many and I haven't been in the league long. I do like the Toronto Legion logo, it's clean. My team's logo is really cool too, whoever designed it, did a really fantastic job.

    5. Favourite Cheese: Havarti, no contest. Add some crackers to the mix and you have a culinary experience waiting to happen in your mouth.

    6. Am I a gamer?: I am a pretty big gamer. Most sports games are what I spend most of my time in. NHL, NBA, and UFC are my go-tos. Favourite shooter has to be Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hello and welcome to the VHL! @Senjo1706

My name is Zack, I usually go by IR or Rockstar, and I am the GM of the San Diego Marlins. While we are in the midst of a rebuild, and you are going to receive a lot of offers, I’d love for you to consider us your new home, and I’ll start with the biggest reason.

THRASH IS ON OUR TEAM AND I AM KLUTCH (HIS MOD)! :D BUT ON TOP OF THAT…

We here at San Diego do not just consider ourselves a team, we consider ourselves a family. We provide a safe space for a lot of people to just have fun, explore the league and most importantly, enjoy themselves.

As a rebuilder, I can guarantee that you receive good minutes on our third and fourth line, this gives you a chance to reach your max potential and get a lot of points doing it! On top of that, I am the most tenured GM in the league with 10 seasons experience under my belt and more than 13 years IRL experience in sim leagues. This means I can teach you the ropes and really get hands on with creating a player you will be happy with.

If this all sounds like a family you want to be a part of, then please quote this offer and accept it. We cannot wait to potentially see you in a Marlins jersey.

Thank you for taking the time to consider us, and best of luck no matter your decision.

I am very grateful to accept this offer, Rockstar. Thank you very much.

  6. Hey everyone, my name is Bradley Senjo. 18 years old, from Swift Current, Newfoundland & Labrador.

I am very excited to be a part of the upcoming draft into the Victory Hockey League. It's something that I've always dreamed of since I was a kid.

I remember all of those 6 am practices with my Dad. We would always stop at the Timmy's on the way to the rink. Medium double-double for Dad, medium hot chocolate for me.

During my junior career, I've heard my coaches say that my strengths include my ability to find my teammates, no matter where they are on the ice. I have also worked a lot on my face-offs over this last year after transitioning to a more centre-focused role.

I look forward to working on my development and making a difference on the roster of the team that drafts me.

    See you on the ice!
