1 We just passed the first round, what are you thoughts, was it easy, do you have any regrets?

Sweeping the first round always gives you more confidence going into the next round. I think this win will help us do better as we move through the rest of the playoffs. 

2 Who would you like to play against in the next round?

I would like to play against a team that we are able to win against but not too easy because the closer the series, the more entertaining it is. 

3 Who are you scared to play against in the next round?

I am scared to play against Houston or Las Vegas because they are the teams that gave us the most trouble during the regular season.

4 Who is the best player of the playoffs so far (It can be from Ottawa  but also from an other team)?

Alex TheGreat from the Aces has shown amazing talent with 14 points in their team's first round sweep.

5 Prediction time: who, for you, will win the playoffs?

I think the Lynx are going back to back.

6 If we will be able to win the playoffs, how will you celebrate?

If we win I will celebrate with a non-alcoholic cold one.

1 the team is having an up and down moment, yeah we are winning some gemes, but we are also losing some, do you think this is normal?

Of course this is normal, no great teams win every game.

2 How would you fix our problem? would you changes some lines or maybe just make a trade?

I think this group can pull together and get back on track. If we could trade a draft pick for another depth player we would probably be set.

3 Who do you think is the biggest presence on the rink?

Ragnar is great to have out there.

4 Now, who do you think is the biggest presence in the lockeroom?

I'll go with Max Torq.

5 if you had to pick a hat to give to the first star of the game (of our team), wich  hat would you choose?

A furry hat.

6 Who would win in a fight between me and 16z against a lynx? me and 16z or the lynx?

The lynx would win in less than 5 seconds.

Welcome to the Yukon Rush Press Conference for Aug 16th, 2021, where the press ask hopefully six very important question and the players on the team are free to answer the question. Answer three question of 1 TPE and/or Answer all 2 TPE.

 

1. The team has lost the past six game; What are you as a player going to do to try to stop the skid?

 

As a player, I am going to try to do as much as I can to aid my team in the coming games. This team is really good. If we get one win we should be able to pick it up and start racking up more wins. 

 

2. Losing six game can be tough; what is your overall mood about the team at the moment?

 

My overall mood about the team at the moment is more positive than negative. The team is on a losing streak right now but I know this team is better than that and we should be able to bounce back. 

 

3. What has been the bright spot during the six game skid?

 

The bright spot is that the team can look at all these losses and learn from them and become a better team. You have to lose to eventually win. Also our goaltender has somehow been able to shut the door even when the team is struggling. 

 

4. Trade deadline should be right around the corner are you nervous or excited for the trade deadline? Why?

 

I'm not really nervous or excited for the deadline. I know our GM has done a really good job with trades in the past. I also know he will make moves that will help this team whether those are moves for now or for the future. 

 

5. Talking about trade Huston traded away all their players in the past few weeks; what do you think about playing only Bot players?

 

Houston is in a pretty bad spot right now. But they are rebuilding. Trading away all of these players has given them a massive amount of draft picks in the coming drafts. They should be able to use those draft picks to become a well built team and maybe even a contender for the championship. 

 

6. Riddle: What has to be broken before you can use it?

An Egg has to be broken before you can use it.
