  1. 1) Since it's not been too long since you've joined the league, what are thoughts on the league so far as a whole?

I think this league is a very friendly league and I love it, at least the locker room is.

    2) Are there any areas in the league that you would like to see a change/improvement?

No, I don't think there is a way to improve so far. I'm still new, so my only suggestion is maybe make the way to get points the 2nd or 3rd thing you see? Sometimes it's a pain and I forget where everything is.

    3) The VHLM Newsletter launched earlier this week, did you read it and was it helpful to you?

No, I didn't read it, I can't answer the second question.

    4) What are your aims this season in the VHLM?

    Play, that's about it.

    5) With the teams starting to take shape, who do you consider to be the favourite for the VHLM Founders Cup?

    Honestly, no clue

6a) Is there any player on your VHL team that you're particularly looking forward to playing with when you make the VHL? (For players who were also in the VHL Draft)

    .

6b) What do you think of your current VHLM team? (If you were selected in the VHLM Draft)

    .

6c) If a GM were to make you an offer, what kind of player would they be getting? (If you're currently unaffiliated).

While I'm not unaffiliated, I try to be as hardworking as possible (juggling the SBA and VHL is stressful tbh)

Nice articles! I love how you’re players is so determined to be a better players in hockey and will do anything he can to reach is goal. Personal I will love to know more about how he deal with injury and how he recover from them. Because I think it’s a huge step for a players who is beginning to play hockey to deal with injury physically and mentally that can be a subject for an others article maybe 🤷‍♂️. This article is a 8.5/10. Love it and hope seeing more article from you!!

Hey! Thank you lmao I'm not really a dedicated hockey fan, just snooped around here and there. Don't know stats and all that.

Maybe I'll cover it in another article when I'm thinking of writing one covering how he was raised, you know? It's a huge step in any sports career, dealing with injuries and overcoming them

  3. Junior Review: Doodle, Jacker, 21, 6'0", 140 lbs

I'm fairly new to hockey, so if I don't understand something about the game, let me know as a reply.

Jacker Doodle or Mikael Utera Jr., started playing Hockey at the age of 15 when he was in the middle of school. He got the inspiration to play after he watched a few of his friends playing field hockey and thought it would be fun. Of course, in field hockey, he couldn't play that well and managed to always trip and fall on himself. Ice hockey changed that, however. In Ice Hockey, he didn't need to worry about his shoes. While yes, he did have skates and those could possibly be worrying, it at least wasn't a pair of shoes that he liked. He only played one game at 15 with his coach seeing multiple things wrong with his game. While yes, he did need to work on stuff, he felt the punishment was unnecessary. His ego took over after the first game and after that, he stayed as morale support for the team. He practiced once a week, slowly going to three times a week, which slowly went to five days a week and stayed at five. His ego wouldn't let him stay benched. He got infuriated multiple times and broke a few bones and skates from all of the falls, all of the hits he took when practicing against other people, all of the times he'd stomped a little too hard, things of that nature.

    A GRAPHIC I WORKED ON

His game needed work and a lot of it. He knew that, which is why he improved steadily until he was 17. He looked like he was progressing and regressing at the same time. Maybe it was the fact that he tried too much in some games, which paid off sometimes, but not all the time. At 17, he was just trying to impress whoever he could with what he could do which often led to him trying to take a leadership role and being the one to call the shots. After 18, he went to community college, often practicing his skating in different skating rinks and practicing other abilities with 1v1's, 2v2's, even 3v3's sometimes. He was trying to improve while balancing college. At 20, he finished and then there was nothing for him to do besides playing hockey. He got an offer after his 21st birthday to play in Mexico City after moving to America.

  4. Jacker Doodle is a new recruit in the league who recently was picked up by the Mexico City Kings.

After he said he would be in the VHL, 2-4 GMs asked if he could join their team, but he ultimately decided he would go for Mexico City. He thought the environment in Mexico City was great and he wanted to experience new culture, so he decided that the place he would play for about a year or 2 in Mexico City and might play for longer because of the difference in places.

This is a time for celebration for Jacker Doodle and his family because he is now in a sport and earning a lot of money, so he could share the profits with his family and help them out as he goes along. Yeah, it might not work out like that, but who knows? Maybe it will work out and he will get massive contracts and all that good stuff. That's all I have to say for now.

    6. If you won the lottery what would you do with the money?

    2. I mean, I'm sure chemistry and great overall players could help, but other than that, not sure

    5. I don't have a dream car, I mostly want a BMX bike or something close to that

    6. Depends on how much. Anything $750,000 or less I'd keep but if it's over that amount, I'd donate 25%/50%/75% based on the amount

    Hello @S1aveToTheGam3

We would love to have you on Mexico City! We are working on building a cup contender here in Mexico City. We were hoping you could help us out! We have a great locker room and we would be able to help you grow your VHL player! We can offer you 2nd line minutes with some PP and PK time too. Perfect for a new player starting out.

Just reply to this with #HailtotheKings to join the Mexico City Kings!
