  3. From a team who only won eighteen games in S96 to 12/30 wins in S97, the Saskatoon Wild are on the pace to double their win count from the previous season, and it's thanks to the young studs on this team. The Saskatoon Wild had famous wins over the Ottawa Lynx, Mississauga Hounds, and Houston Bulls. The Wild's attacking core, consisting of C.J Daniels, Captain Nugget Jr, and Big Macken Fries, have grown chemistry on the court and off the court. combining for 25 goals this season. The Saskatoon Wild has also improved the passing, sharing the puck with speed, a recipe for success in any hockey organization. The defence improved, as C.J Daniels wanted to be a defensive-forward, helping the team with more bodies in the backfield. Mr. Sandstrom and Tuomala received some help, giving the Wild a 12-15-3 (OT) record in the regular season. The Wild are trending in all the right directions, and it's about time they push for a VHLM playoff spot.
  4. 1. How's your VHL/VHLM player doing this year? 2. What's one thing VHL could add to improve activity? 3. What's one item you'd keep with you always, even in the grave?
  5. We are thirteen games into the season, and without a shadow of a doubt, C.J Daniels is going to double his goal/assist ratio from last year. Currently, he has 6 goals, seven assists, and 77 shots on target in 18 games. He's growing at an immense rate, showing signs of effort and never giving up on the team. He had 2 goals and 2 assists against the VHLM champions, Mississauga Hounds. The game was over by the 2nd period, as the Saskatoon Wild rammed on four straight goals to blowout the Hounds on the road. This win wasn't only immense for the locker-room, but for the franchise as well. Currently, the Saskatoon Wild sit in 8th in the VHLM with a 7-9-2 record. Their recent win, an overtime win over the #1 seed in the VHLM, Ottawa Lynx, showed our deadly their offense can be when everyone is clicking on the court. Baby Fresca has made an immense impact to the team, providing support for the forwards on the line as a center. With the rapid improvement, this team can be a playoff team in the VHLM.
  6. 1. As a former Chicago Phoenix, I hope they win it all. They are led by a fantastic general manager along with some good young pieces to potentially win it all. 2. I was drafted by the Bears, so I'm going to support the team no matter what. I think they will make the playoffs, but it's too early to say if they're going to win it all. 3. My life is a simple, chaotic mess. Questions: 1) Do you believe in New Year's resolutions? 2) What's your player's goal for 2025? 3) Forget about what we are leaving behind in 2024, what are we bringing into 2025?
  7. The season has returned for the Saskatoon Wild, and C.J Daniels took no time entering himself into the scoring sheet. Currently, in six games, he has 1 goal and 2 assists, making his presence known on the offensive side of the puck. However, the team is struggling to score, as the Wild were scoreless in 4/6 opening games of the season. There are still problems to solve, but C.J Daniels have shown glimpses of spark throughout the season. With time, he will be an impactful player for this hockey club, especially if they want to make the post-season. For now, the Wild worry about the consistently of their offense, as Daniels, Tuomala, Sandstrom, and Fries are building chemistry with one another off the court. Mr. Daniels took it upon himself during the off-season to work on his passing and stick-handling, running drills with his brother. He aims to be one of the best pass-first forwards to ever lace up the skates.
