Next up in this ten-part series is the Halifax 21st! This past season, they finished second in the East and made a deep playoff run, ultimately falling to Houston in the Finals. It was a heartbreaking end to a very strong season, but one that showed just how competitive this team can be. But what about the future? Are they set up for continued success? Can they stay in the championship mix? That is exactly what we’re going to examine in this installment of the "Future Outlook" series. Looking ahead to the upcoming draft, Halifax is in a decent spot. The 21st hold all of their own picks, which gives them flexibility in both the short and long term. On top of that, they also have Ottawa’s 5th-round pick, which could be useful if they’re targeting depth players or want to take a chance on a hidden gem. Given that their first-round pick will likely be a late one due to their strong finish, they might be eyeing a defensive prospect to help bolster their blue line. The challenge ahead, however, is no small one. With several key players potentially on the way out — including Hater Tottingham @Trunkxolotl, Steven Nichols @SlyDigi, Petr Novak @LastGoon007, Manuel Ceson @dylanjj37, and Cysteine @Bea — there’s going to be a need for a significant reload. That’s a lot of veteran presence and experience walking out the door, and filling that void will be essential if Halifax wants to remain competitive in the coming seasons. Newly appointed GM @flyersfan345 will be at the helm for this transition, and there’s no doubt he’ll have his hands full. Fortunately, he’s got all of Halifax’s draft capital at his disposal, which gives him plenty of options when it comes to building the next era of 21st hockey. Whether through the draft, or trades, there will be opportunities to retool and bring in new talent. At this point, it looks like there will be just five returning players next season. But while the number may be small, the quality is not. Each of the returning players has shown great promise, and none more so than Zara Wolf @Banackock. Wolf had an impressive 39-point campaign, including 16 goals — the most among the returning core and fifth overall on the team last season. He’s a skilled two-way forward with sharp vision and the ability to make things happen in the offensive zone. If Halifax wants to stay in the mix next season, Wolf will need to elevate his game even further. He is, without a doubt, my player to watch. Don’t make the mistake of counting Halifax out. Despite the looming roster changes, this team still has the pieces and the potential to be a force next season and beyond. But the big question remains: can they finally get over the hump and win the cup after back-to-back runner-up finishes? The fans are hungry, and expectations are high. Lastly, with @rory stepping down, I want to take a moment to congratulate him on a fantastic tenure as Halifax’s GM. Your leadership brought this team to great heights. Best of luck in whatever comes next! @birb@Rain@AColdCanadian@AW13

Mississauga Hounds Press Conference
Bravebulldogs replied to Gustav's topic in Team Press Conferences
Hey guys! Here is a 6 question press conference! Answer 3 for 1 tpe and all 6 for 2 tpe! 1. How do you think the team can improve from last season? 2. Who is your favorite VHL player? 3. What do you think of Houston winning the cup? 4. How has your VHL team (The One You Are A Prospect For) done this season? 5. Who do you want to win the Stanley Cup? 6. What NHL player do you want your player to be like? -
Houston - Halifax Final: HOU 2 - HFX 0 We have crowned a new champion in the VHLM as the Houston Bulls have knocked off the Halifax 21st to win the Founder's Cup. The first two periods of game six were scoreless but tight. In the third period, Hunter s scored his 7th goal of the playoffs from Gingy and Dog Jagr. Just five minutes later, Hunter s scored again to put up a huge insurance goal. Halifax was only able to put up 10 shots on goalie Bartholomew Lorequavius who stopped them all. As the final seconds ticked down, helmets and gloves went flying as the celebration started for Houston after a 2-0 game six win. 3 Stars: 1 - Hunter s (2 Goals, 5 shots, 2 hits) 2 - Bartholomew Lorequavius (10 saves, Win) 3 - Gingy (1 Assits, 4 Shots, 2 Hits)

Hey guys! My name is Bravebulldogs and I will be interviewing Avery Acres of the Mississauga Hounds today! - Hey Avery! How do you feel about how the Hounds did this year and what does the future hold for you? - I felt like we did a great job this year! Obviously the season didn't end like we would have liked it to but I feel like we gave all our energy. I can't wait to come back next year for my potential last year as a minor league player and hopefully help lead our team to a cup win. That's the goal. - How do you feel about your teammates? - We all are on different teams prospect wise but we are all united under the Hounds. We got such a good group of guys and I'm sure we'll all be in touch even after we graduate to the VHL. Wouldn't want to be with any other players. - How does the pressure of playing for the Toronto hockey team in the VHLM and expected to play well affect your game? - Pressure drives me. I aim to strive under pressure and as you saw on that 4 OT goal from Sikes @JaySmacksss in the playoffs, we showed we could face it. Our home crowd expected a win and I saw the opportunity to get a big hit and take the puck away and skated down the ice and saw Sikes in the slot and knew if I gave him a good enough pass that he would bury it. We feed off the crowd's energy. - How much of an impact has Captain Kurt Bachmann @Blutch put on your life and game? - He has been a great mentor and leader and he leaves all he has on the ice day in and day out. He blocks so many shots and racks up a ton of hits. It gives us momentum. And in the locker room he is a leader. He is a very vocal guy and we will miss him so much and I hope he does great in the league. - Thank you for speaking with me Avery! - Thank you for having me!

Next up in this 10-part series is a deep dive into the Miami Marauders. Last season, they were widely regarded as one of, if not the worst teams in the league. From poor performance to lackluster roster moves, it was a season most fans would prefer to forget. But what about next season? What can we expect with a new general manager stepping into the front office? That’s exactly what we’ll explore in this installment of the "Future Outlook" series by Bravebulldogs. Looking ahead to this year’s draft, Miami holds a decent set of picks: a first-rounder, two second-round picks, as well as selections in the fourth, sixth, and seventh rounds. With the draft class being notably deep this year, there’s a real opportunity here for Miami to pick up some key contributors. They won’t rebuild overnight, but this could be the first real step in the right direction. One major issue the team faces is the lack of returning talent. After trading away key players like Danny Ross @Spartakiller2 and Ryan Mantzz @Rkhockey9, the Marauders find themselves starting from near-scratch. Mantzz, their first-round pick just last season, was a controversial choice from the start. Most people around the league believed he was destined to be a one-and-done player, and unfortunately, those concerns proved true. Miami picked a player with short-term value despite clearly not being in a win-now position, effectively squandering a valuable year of team development. One player who could make a meaningful leap next year is Chase Breeze @C-Breeze. While their current roster lacks standout names, C-Breeze has the potential to be the best player on the team—if he returns. The Marauders are in desperate need of defensive help, having fielded one of the worst defenses in the league last season. Breeze is currently the only non S-100 defender on the roster, making him a crucial piece moving forward. Because of that, it's almost certain Miami will target defense early in the draft. The new GM, @Scurvy, walks into a tough spot. Rebuilding this franchise won’t be easy, but that’s the job. On the offensive side, players like Viener Schnitzel @Spaz and Andreas Andreasen @Rjdixon01 will likely form the foundation of the forward group. There's a long way to go, but with smart drafting and patience, there may be light at the end of the tunnel for the Miami Marauders. Lastly, I want to give a huge congratulations to @Ricer13 for landing the GM job with the Calgary Wranglers. He absolutely deserves it after a committed and thoughtful tenure in Miami. While it's unfortunate that his time ended on such a rough season, there's no doubt that Calgary is in great hands moving forward.

Mississauga Hounds AGM Needed [HIRED]

I'll apply! Go Hounds! -
With Mexico City knocking out the Mississauga Hounds from the playoffs, this marks an end of an era for the Hounds. Through all the ups downs this franchise has had, whether it's the 0-72 season or the cup win in S96, this franchise has experienced a lot. With @ace_five_ stepping down, we will look at his short, but successful tenure. Many GMs want to win a cup, but not many can. And Ace did. With some great drafting by him and the former GM before him and some big trades, the Hounds prevailed in S96. There have been so many moments during his tenure that were thrilling, one of those coming just a few days ago when Jay Sikes @JaySmacksss put home a pass from Avery Acres in the 4th OT. Avery Acres said, "He was such a great mentor to me during these past two seasons and he will be missed and remembered. Just hearing stories of the cup run from the year before I got here show me how much Ace cared about this franchise and almost everyone loved him." Thank you Ace for being a great GM and good luck with whatever you do next!

Dang, you put my team out. Thanks for the support!

S98 World Junior Championship GM Application
Bravebulldogs replied to Ricer13's topic in Job Interviews
@Pifferfish, want to run it back with Canada? I'll apply. -
Next up in this (hopefully) ten-part series is the Philadelphia Reapers. They are currently contending for a championship this year and have a very real chance to win it all. The roster is strong, the chemistry is clicking, and the momentum seems to be on their side. But what about the future? What will this team look like next year and beyond? That is what we are going to take a closer look at today in this week’s outlook. In the upcoming season, the Reapers are in a pretty solid position. They currently hold their own 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th round draft picks. That’s five picks in total, with three of them coming in the early rounds—an enviable situation for any contending team. Having all of your top three picks still in play, especially when you're already competing for a title, is a massive asset. It gives them flexibility. They could draft talented young players to keep building the foundation for the future, or even potentially package some of those picks in a trade to make another deep playoff push. If they draft well, they could cement themselves not only as contenders but as favorites next season. On the roster side of things, the Reapers will return several key pieces heading into the next year. Alto Red, Jakub Kovar, Adam Joy, Bazooka Joe, Tommy James Longpre, Krister Von Casar Tzesar, and goalie Louis Burley are all expected to be back. That is an impressive core. Add in a few talented draft picks or even a free agent or two, and Philadelphia could easily be even better next year than they are right now. The depth and star power combined make them a team no one wants to face. One player I think will step up into a bigger role next year is Jakub Kovar. That’s assuming he stays in the M, of course—because I know @MichkovSzn is a high earner and could be ready for the call-up. But if he’s back, watch out. Kovar tied for fourth on the team in points last season with 79. He also tallied 36 goals, showing he’s already a scoring threat. With a potential promotion to the top line and first power play unit, he could absolutely explode statistically. Don’t be surprised if he finds himself in MVP conversations. Another factor working in the Reapers’ favor is the league landscape itself. Three of the other four teams in the league are getting new general managers next season. That means change, transition, and possibly instability. The Reapers, on the other hand, will have continuity. Their players know the system, the expectations, and what it takes to win. That’s a competitive edge that could translate to dominance on the ice. All in all, the future is looking bright in Philadelphia. The Reapers are not just a team for today—they're built for tomorrow, too. They are laying out the blueprint for success in the VHLM. @MichkovSzn@TJ Longpre@Webby1121@alto_red@Spartakiller2@Lucas anton@Itz_Viperz@Brandon@Moon@Advantage@Komrad@MrMom@RJMW@ScottyP@Starchychaff@Baby Boomer@EndoNate

There is a new leader emerging in Chicago when it comes to career regular season games played as a goalie. Ryan Artyomov has now tied the all-time franchise record, as today he started and played in his 513th game behind the pipes for the Phoenix. It’s an impressive milestone and a true testament to his consistency, durability, and impact on the team over the years. As this is expected to be his final season with the Phoenix, he now has a golden opportunity to break the record tomorrow, setting a new benchmark in franchise history. Throughout his outstanding career, Artyomov has maintained a stellar .922 save percentage and a 2.91 goals-against average. In addition, he has recorded 20 shutouts and faced over 19,000 shots. He has been nothing short of a brick wall in net for Chicago. While he may retire without a championship ring, Artyomov’s legacy is undeniable. Congratulations to Ryan Artyomov on an incredible and inspiring career. @Enorama

Game 333: Miami Marauders vs Philadelphia Reapers Final: MIA 3 - PHI 5 Philadelphia came in thinking this game would be a free two points because they were playing the last place Marauders, but they had to fight. Joseph Poole (38) got them on the board early on the power play. Miami answered just over three minutes later with a power play goal of their own from Asahi Kiriguya (2). Less than four minutes later, Jakub Kovar (32) put the Reapers back in the lead on the powerplay. In the second period, Miami scored twice. The goals came from Lursa Duras (4) and Chase Breeze (9) with the latter being scored on the power play. In the third period, the Reapers didn't hold back. Joseph Poole (39,40) scored twice to complete the hat trick and Danny Ross (32) also scored. This game did show weaknesses for Philadelphia's goalie Tony Bob who let in 3 goals on only 18 shots. The Reapers will need him in peak for for the playoffs. 3 Stars: 1. Joseph Poole (3 Goals, 1 Hit) 2. Alto Red (3 Assists) (He also had 11 shots and 0 goals. Tough night for his finishing but he was a great teammate.) 3. Jakub Kovar (1 Goal, 1 Assist, 1 Hit)

GM 334: Houston Bulls vs Saskatoon Wild Final Score: HOU 5 - SSK 4 This game was a powerplay slug fest with a total seven goals being scored on the man advantage. Houston scored early with two unlikely goal scorers in Robin Sierra (18) on the powerplay and Natalia Nano (2). After Jack Jack was put in the box for Houston for interference, Egor Shomin (30) capitalized by getting a shot by goalie Bartholomew Lorequavius to cut the Houston lead to one. But just six seconds later, Gingy (30) put one past Wild goaltender Diego Adam to extend the Houston lead back to two. In the second period the Wild scored two powerplay goals to even the score. It was Lorenzo Mancini (28) and Chris Barbre (7) who scored. With it all tied up, Gingy (31) capitalized off of a Cj Daniels cross check to give the Bulls the lead. Later, when Houston was on the power play once again, Hunter s (33) put home an insurance goal that would prove to be vital. Because with under a minute to go, the league leading goal scorer Cj Daniels (49) struck once again. However, Saskatoon was unable to score in the last 48 seconds to give Houston the 5-4 win. 3 Stars: 1. Gingy (HOU)(2 Goals, 1 Assist, 3 Hits) 2. Feki Oha Kau (HOU)(2 Assists) 3. Egor Shomin (SSK)(1 Goal, 1 Assist, 1 Shot Blocked) Feel like Cj Daniels and Hunter s deserved the 2nd and 3rd stars but they both had crucial penalties.

The Mississauga Hounds will be in the playoffs this year and will be chasing a cup. They made a big trade at the deadline to pick up Captain Nugget Jr.. But what about past this season? Are they set up for future success? That is what we will be looking at today. In the upcoming draft, where there are tons of high end prospects, the Hounds have two firsts, two fourths, and a seventh round pick. That will be five players that they will be adding and we don't even know what trades they might make. At last seasons draft, the Hounds traded for Sidney Sheppard, who has been a star for the Hounds. The Hounds will likely lose David VanHousen, captain Kurt Bachmann, Captain Nugget Jr., and Sidney Sheppard. They will have to rely on their two first round picks and Avery Acres, Jay Sikes, MacGregor Walcott, and Hank Smith next year if they want to contend. That is a really solid core and they will bring back goaltender Yor Bjorven who will certainly be a top goalie this upcoming season. The east could become a gauntlet next year with Philadelphia and Halifax likely losing very little players. Ottawa is on the rise and could add a lot of talent in the draft with 4 picks in the first 3 rounds. So who will the Hounds need to step up? My choice is winger MacGregor Walcott. The offense is losing a lot of talent and they will need another star or two to rise up. Jay Sikes has been great this year and Avery Acres has been clutch this year with 7 game winning goals so far. Walcott has 46 points in 68 games for the Hounds and will be a crucial piece next year for the Hounds. One area of this team that should be strong next year is defense. They will be returning Hank Smith, Remain Six Meters Back From Me, and Takashi Borisyuk. Three players might not sound great, but it is great when all of them will be entering their (in what I consider their) VHLM primes next year. And with two first rounders, the can add a star defender in the draft. After a quick rebuild after the cup win in S96, the Hounds are right back into contention. Although they still have the playoffs to play this season, it is never to early to look at the future. And as we have seen, next season could be a interesting one with all the players teams will add in the draft. Thank you for reading and tell me what you think in the comments/replies! I will try to make this a series and Philadelphia will be next if I do. Happy Playoffs everyone!

I'm interested but I don't have STHS because i'm on a mac. I can do everything you need except submitting lines.

The VHLM playoffs are soon arriving as the trade deadline has passed. Here is an outlook for each team that is in a playoff position right now in standings order. 1. Houston: The top team in the league and are definitely the favorites to win the cup. Acquiring Gingy @MexicanCow123, Dog Jagr @koty_k, and Cardinal Copia @Beketov has been a big plus so far and each of those players should make a big impact come playoff time. @SMYLS4 has his team looking good entering the playoffs. 2. Philadelphia: The top team in the east also made a couple of moves at the deadline acquiring Danny Ross @Spartakiller2 and goalie Tony Bob @Baby Boomer. Philadelphia has been led by Alto Red @alto_red who has 90 points as of the time of this writing. 3. Halifax: The team who thought they were destined to win it all last year will have a tough path to a chip. With the likely road of Mississauga, Philadelphia, and Houston, the 21st will have to have an historic run to win and they are a team who can do it. However, they didn't make one trade at the deadline and might have a lack of star power. Hater Tottingham @Trunkxolotl leads the team with 68 points. 4. Mexico City: The kings gained winger Ryan Mantzz @Rkhockey9 at the deadline as their lone move. They will be favored in round one but would have a tough matchup in round two if they make it against Houston assuming Houston wins. Going into the playoffs goaltender Pepe Silva @STZ can steal them a few games for sure. 5. Mississauga: The Hounds acquired Captain Nugget Jr. @Captain nugget and he has made an immediate impact. Many eyes will be on the Mississauga-Halifax series as it will probably be the most competitive of the first round. Forwards Sidney Sheppard @GoodLeftUndone, David VanHousen @David VanHousen, and Jay Sikes @JaySmacksss will be essential to the Hounds success in the playoffs. 6. Saskatoon: Saskatoon were sellers at the deadline as they traded Captain Nugget Jr. and Tony Bob and will likely be taken out in the first round or two although they still have a superstar and a league leading goal scorer in CJ Daniels @xNJDevilsFanx. 7. Las Vegas: After winning the cup last year, @sadie has the Aces in line for another playoff spot but don't expect too much from them against Houston. But we will get a lot of boings in the last 12 games of the playoffs. And they can win the inaugural "Cup of Milk Cup" if they beat Mississauga in a few days in the "Battle For The Milk" rivalry. 8. Ottawa: Here is your participation trophy for the playoffs Ottawa! Ottawa will have a difficult matchup in round one against Philadelphia. Who do you think will win? Reply to this topic telling me who!
