I am not, have not, and will not be swimming, I also haven’t read Bek’s article, but I do know how to ramble so here we go. firstly I should amend my opening statement. I have simmed before, using the STHS. During COVID, as acting Athletics manager, I created a league to simulate the ball hockey league that couldn’t physically happen due to the shutdowns. It was fun for me at least haha. Secondly, Sakic’s sophmore season is in the bag (sure playoffs are coming up but regular season). Overall it was a pretty solid season. I wanted 90 points, but realistically set my sights on 85. I ended with 87, so I was content. 25 goals was not enough but was improvement and more notably, my shooting % was up by about 1.25%… to 6.something% - still bad but better! Now my sights are on the playoffs and doing whatever I can to help a Calgary to the cup. I wish we had a word count feature so I could know for sure I am at or close to 150 words…. Maybe I will write this in the suggestion and complaints thread. happy playoff season everyone!
