''Hall of fame! Hall of fame! Hall of fame! Hall of fame!'' chants were once again heard outside the Vancouver Wolves locker room. What was going on? Rauno Palo was in town. He decided to visit his former team before tonight's game two against Phoenix.

 

We were not able to hear or see what was going on inside the locker room, but Rauno spent around two minutes with the Wolves team before he walked out of the room. ''Hall of fame! Hall of fame!'' chants started again as he was walking away towards the VIP section.

 

Our luck turned moments later as one of the physios was willing to give a quick comment on what happened during those two minutes.

 

''Palo walked in and asked if anybody has seen his S67 cup ring? The guys had a good laugh, it's a bit of an inside joke in the room nowadays. Palo keeps the ring on his finger all the time. He wished us good luck in the game and that was that really. He said he has to go find his seat in the VIP section before some other Wolves alumni steal it.
