Riga Bolster Squad Ahead of S77

With S76 having gone better for Riga than most people expected, the Reign have decided to bolster their roster, particularly on the back end, for the upcoming season, in order to become a real contender and make that push for the cup.

 

They made trades to acquire the rights to General Zod (whom has since signed with the team) and James Rose from London, with Zod costing a 3^rd round pick and Rose costing Riga’s S78 1^st rounder. They are both good trades in my opinion, with both players adding some much need quality and depth to the Riga back end without giving up too much to get it.

 

So, what does the Riga Roster look like heading into next season. Riga, as of yet, haven’t made any moves to bolster their forward core so Shields, McJake, McLaren, DaMoose, Lose, McCloud, Rocket and M graduate Andy Nexber. As for the defensemen, we have Rose, Zod, Zetterstrom, Thunder and Zyrok. I’m not sure how the lines will line up but I’m guessing it’ll look similar to how I was at the end of the regular season with Rose and Zod taking the place of Saskamoose and Lagesson.

 

Riga have definitely made some great improvements to their roster and will be a team to look out for come the start of the new season.
