Shot blocking continues

As the season goes on....games are won and lost, standings change and points leaders change. One thing has stayed constant and that is Tom Eagles name on top of the shot blocking leaderboards. 

In just his second season, Tom, is really starting to show everyone that he is a top defensive defender in this league. He may end up, by the end of the seasons, having more shots blocked then some backup goalies in the league which goes to show how dedicated Tom is to the defensive aspect of the game.

 

so far in 31 games he has 97 shots blocked. That is potentially 97 potential goals stopped by putting his body on the line.

 

" It's great to be leading in something and I am happy to be able to contribute this way for my team" Said Tom " The season has been up and down for us in Calgary but I think if we continue the way we are playing and I can continue to block shots that we can hopefully make a run for the wildcard spot"
