hockeyis66 143
It has been a tough go of it lately for the Yukon Rush as they have fallen 10 points behind San Diego for the 4th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. They were also scoring more goals than they were giving up, but now have given up more goals than they have scored. “We haven’t played well recently and we have put ourselves in a position now were we have to play catch up and hope the Marlins lose. We split games with them last week too so we didn’t really make up any ground in the head to head matchups.” Lemiuex has also dropped below a point per game average now with 47 points in 49 games on 14 goals and 33 assists. He was also a “+” player but is now a -9 on the season. “I really have to continue to up my game here in the second half of the season and play better defense. I have to skate hard on the back check, help to clear out in front of the net and get the puck out from in front of our net. I am scoring a little more too, but its still not enough and have to get my shooting percentage up over 10% and closer to 12-15% on the season.” JB123 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/102013-lemiuex-on-rushs-recent-struggles/ Share on other sites
