Zamboni Drivers bid for Individual Awards

Zamboni Driver @Tape-to-Tape currently sporting a 2.88 GAA as well as a .924 SV PCT, is hoping that his efforts this season will culminate in some hardware for himself and the team. Currently leading all starters in SV pct and trailing close behind in goals against average. Driver has been the epitome of consistency this season. He has yet to win a trophy in his VHL career. This season may finally be his breakthrough despite posting slightly worse stats than last season. With the deadline acquisition of James Rose expectations are high in Helsinki and with expectations comes pressure. Nobody feels more pressure than the goalie whether it's fair or not. With this article we're hoping to shine a light on an underappreciated netminder in Driver and hopefully get him the recognition he deserves. @bog <- does that work? No? Okay. All I'm asking is that when the BOG goes to vote on awards, is that they give elite goalie Zamboni Driver the respect he deserves.
