Spewing out a few thoughts for some TPE

So because I need a quick 2 TPE and trivia went AWOL on my ass, I thought it would be a good idea for me to spew out a couple of thoughts I've had this season. I guarantee that this article will not be my best, though I feel like it's a good way to vent a couple of things.

 

- So leading up to the trade deadline, LVA has really been struggling against the top heavy teams this season. I mean, to be fair, I felt as if we've been punching above our weight class all season. Starting off the season, the strong defensive core was just starting to show itself and we didn't acquire Shaggy Tipton and Chicken Nugget yet. Once we did, we started popping off. In all honesty. I'm very proud of this team. I know it often looks like I'm haphazardly frankensteining this team into contention with draft picks as my blood sacrifices, but I'm proud of this team. Especially since it's my first season as a GM. Of course I still think we need a piece to truly go head to head with the top teams, and I think Kjell Nilsson is definitely going to help us here. Maybe I might add something else by the deadline.

 

- VHL drama is highly entertaining, and like any soap opera, new episodes come in pretty much weekly. Of course I have put input on certain VHL drama over my time here, and I have to admit, I'm not always in the right. Another thing is that I'm really chill irl and online. It takes a lot to truly piss me off. I can get annoyed, more so stressed, but I really don't get really pissed off that often. Most of the time, if I do involve myself in drama, I just put my thoughts and leave it there. If anyone responds, I try to read it and take their opinions into consideration. That or I completely disregard it since I'm lazy.  So what does this have to do with VHL drama being entertaining? Well I find it fun watching people make media spot length responses to each other in escalating fashion. Sometimes I wonder if at least one of them is just doing it for shits and giggles after a while. It's also a great time killer. That too.

 

- Has there always been constant expansion talks? I feel like ever since S73 or so, people just keep talking about potential expansions. Maybe even before that. I'm not venting against expansion talks since I'd be all for expansion. Only if it's completely reasonable to. I don't wanna go into why expansion is good or bad or anything like that. I'm wondering if expansion ideas have always been a constant question being asked. I just feel like after S73 people talk about expansion one way or another.
