Jonathan Ori

Birthplace: Canada British Columbia

Jonathan Ori was born into a family with a long history of hockey loving players that goes back 76 years, despite this though none of them have ever made it to the big leagues, not the NHL or WHA or even KHL. His family has always been passionate about it but none of them ever quite developed that elite skill. After all these years the family finally seems to have that member capable of it. Jonathan Ori first laced up the skates on his second birthday, and while some struggle he caught on quickly, his family impressed and two years later he was starting to play some of his first friendly games. Jonathan received most of his training from his grandpa as his dad left the family before he was born. Jonathan's grandpa noted early on in his training that he was always 2-3 years ahead of other players of the same age, and in some cases was even 4-5 years ahead of his teammates and opponents in terms of his skill and understanding of the game.

by age seven he was regularly playing against kids around 10 and 11 years and he didn't seem out of place at all, well besides being shorter obviously. Always playing against those bigger than him and on the same skill level allowed him to just grow even faster in the game. By age 12 he found himself playing against those of the ages 14-16 and he still passed expectations, he would play in that age range until joining the BCHL team the Vernon Vipers at 16. This has been mention before but in his first season he posted 105 points with 34 goals and 71 assists, next season saw an eight point increase to 113 supported by 36 goals and 77 assists, the following season saw a smaller jump to 116 points with 37 goals and 79 assists. In his final two seasons he took much bigger leaps, jumping by nine points to 125, 39 goals and 86 assists, and his finale season he took his biggest jump yet by 11 points, 44 goals and 92 assists at just the age of 20.

His passing games has been what's caught most people's eyes, his vision on the ice is fantastic and he felt it was time for his next step in his career. Just Shortly after finishing the season he announced his goal of playing for a VHL team, he feels it's time for the next step in his career. Of course he'll have to go through the VHLM first but with his skill set he should have no problem what so ever.
