Head Moderator samx 1,180 Posted June 10, 2021 Head Moderator Share Posted June 10, 2021 Recently the victory hockey league announced a new middle league called the vhle to go between the vhl and the vhlm. With excitement high around the league and around the fan bases we wanted to hear directly from some players about what they thought about the new league. We sat down with Joe Madison, a player in the VHL to hear his thoughts on this new league. Interviewer: Hello Joe, I’m so glad to be able to sit down with you today. What were your first thoughts about this new league? Madison: It's a pleasure to be here. Thank you for having me. Honestly it came as quite the surprise to me. I wasn’t expecting anything like this to be happening anytime soon. I was in shock for a while before it really settled in as to what was about to happen in the coming seasons. Interviewer: Hel do you feel that this will affect player development in future seasons? Madison: I think this will allow slower developing players to get more meaningful minutes in the league. Instead of being on a vhl team getting few minutes this could allow them to play higher minutes on a team that can make better use of this talent. It will give those slower developing players more time to increase how much TPE they have so that when they reach the vhl they will have more to contribute to the team than they would have if the vhle was not in place. Interviewer: If you were able to decide a country or a city for a team where would you pick? Madison: I would love to see a team in Switzerland. There’s no real reason behind it but I just think it would be a cool place to see a team located. I feel as though it could bring in a lot of new and passionate fans into the league. Another place I would love to see have a team would be in France. Again I think it would just be a really wonderful place to bring vhl related hockey to. To be able to spread out more fans around the world who are excited about the future of the game. Interviewer: With the Vhle not being introduced for some time how do you keep players and fans excited about it? Madison: I think it’s important to keep adding more and more detail slowly into it. There are going to be points where hype will die down some but I think slowly announcing more and more things about it is how you keep people excited about it. Every time news comes out about it I see the excitement comeback all over again in the league. As it grows closer and closer to officially adding the league the hype and the excitement will only continue to grow for both players and fans alike. Interviewer: Well Joe, Thank you for your time and your insight on this new league. Good luck on the rest of your season this year. Madison: Thank you. word count: 507 Spartan and MexicanCow123 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/104568-joe-madison%E2%80%99s-thoughts-on-the-vhle/ Share on other sites
