Luke Thornton is finally good? S74 draft class breaking the league!

This season, the 74th draft class is really taking the league by storm. You can found 6 players in the top 10 in points (Onde Sandstrom, Aloe Dear, Lee Xin, Christian Mingle, Isabella Campbell, and Luke Thornton), which 3 of them are in the top 3. 5 of them are top 10 in goals and they all reached 30 goals with still 32 games left!

 

This is the season for the S74 draft class forwards and I wonder who will be the one lifing the cup this season.

 

As for Luke Thornton, he is finally having his first breakout season after 5 seasons in the VHL. He has 32 goals in 50 games wit 65 points. One stats that he has drastically improved on is his -/+, he is a +20. It's the first time he has been in the double digitsfor the +  and he he has been a -27 for the last 2 seasons. It's great to see him being reponsible on defence and be helpful on offense.

 

One stats that he is a little bit sad of is that his hits are totally going down, but he has taken a crap ton less penalties staying disciplined. He has 188 hits in 50 games, usually he would already had around 240 hits. He's already top 3 all time for Calgary, so he has no regret in that department.

 

Luke Thornton has a chance to be the best scorer in the league, he is only 4 goals behind from first place and he is hoping to win at least one indivudual award in his career and this might be his only chance to get it...
