Shawn Glade V scores his first career goal in the VHLM

Just days after announcing his signing with the Saskatoon Wild of the VHLM, Shawn Glade V would make a statement in his first week with the team. SG5's first 4 games with the team shows Saskatoon just a glimpse of what they're getting in this true two-way defenseman, as he would block 9 shots with 3 hits and is thus far an amazing +7. What really made the week special however, was SG5 would tally his first career goal and point in his VHLM debut against the Las Vegas Aces. In the first period, a faceoff was held in neutral ice, and  sooner than later, the Wild found themselves in the offensive zone, as Dekster Jankowski's shot was blocked by a defenseman, and Shawn Glade V pounced on the rebound to put the Wild up by two, just 9 seconds after their opening goal. SG5 wasn't done there though, as the Wild's next game, he would notch an assist to earn his second point in as many games in the VHLM. Promising start for a promising player in the minors.
