Armani arrives in Philadelphia

"Philadelphia!" Armani Calamari's father Jay yells when he heard what his son says "why not stay on Ontario with the Hounds?"

"Because dad I want to see more of the USA" Armani says putting a hand on his father's shoulder "besides I'll also be a bit closer to your side of the family and hey I might be staying on the team for just a season. I'll be fine"

"Well alright" Jay sighs as he hugs his son "good luck there I heard the fans can be ruthless"

"Trust me I know. See ya dad!" Armani says as he gets in the car to take the long car ride to the airport. The contract was a bit short notice but they did have a good condo for him to stay and Armani triple checked that he had his passport. A few hours later he was touching down in a Philadelphia airport and was looking for a rental car they have sent for him when a girl came up to him

"Hey where are you from? The girl asks

"Oh Canada! My name is Armani Calamari" Armani answers with a smile

"Oh your from Montreal!" The girls says making his smile fade

"Umm no Toronto though I was born in Alberta"

"But the name sounds French..." Armani sighs deeply before he saw the car coming up

"No it's Italian." Armani says before he gets in the car after putting in his luggage "I am not French Canadian" He mumbles to himself as the driver starts the car and soon they are driving through downtown Philadelphia towards the hockey arena. He was looking around eagerly at the sights and sounds of the City of Brotherly Love before they reached the arena where he met up with the GM Kaleeb.

"Hey Armani welcome to the Philadelphia Reapers!" Kaleeb says as Armani gets out of the car "get your luggage too we will eventually drive you to the condo where you will stay ok?"

"Gotcha sir" Armani smiled as he was taken on a short tour if the arena "certainly bigger then the junior arenas back in Toronto eh?"

"Yeah I agree and I've seen you play in your junior games and was impressed" Kaleeb says "now look you might not get as much playing time but we are looking to have a big playoff push and we are glad you are a part of it"

"Trust me I am very glad to be a part of it" Armani smiles "I definitely want to help raise another banter in this arena so I will try to take advantage of what limited time on the ice I have"

"That is what I like to hear!" Kaleeb says "now i will introduce you to your teammates tomorrow but before then I'll have you brought to your temporary condo. It's not much but it's big enough for one person. Oh, and the money should be in your bank account soon."

"Thank you very much sir"

"Oh! And one more thing." Kaleeb gets our Armani's new jersey "Welcome to the Reapers we are very glad to have you!" Armani smiles as he takes the jersey and does the traditional photo with the GM, excited about what the future held

Awesome article! I love the in-depth look into your player’s story and journey into the VHLM. I’m glad to have made an appearance in here as well! If there was any constructive criticism to add, I’d say maybe putting some more spaces in between the paragraphs just to make it easier on the eyes. But overall, great read! Happy to have you on the Reapers!
