Telker took a massive step up this season. And he has the numbers to show for it. He put up 43G and 47A in his sophomore season, which is more points then anyone in his draft class this year. Telker had 501 shots as well, compared to his 301 last season. He doubled his shots blocked from 24 to 48, and did the same with game winners, going from 4 last year to 8 game winners this season. “I worked really hard last off-season, and it looks like it has paid off.” Said Telker. Next year should be a wake up call to all the fantasy hockey gurus, you don’t often see 3rd year players selected in the VHFL drafts, let alone players coming off their rookie seasons, but a couple guys did select Telker this year, and won’t have regretted that decision one bit. Telker and the Nighthawks get back in action with series date against Warsaw. “We know it’ll be tough, so we have to take every bone we get thrown. But we can’t control that too much, so mainly we need to focus on our play.” Telker commented.
