Omi Aberg - almost his hometown mayor.

Omi Aberg widely around VHL and also his homeland is known as the center for Ottawa Lynx, but in this offseason, he has mostly hung around his home, in islands that no one can say their name.

Recently there were elections, where they elected his hometown's mayor and even though Aberg officially didn't declare that he will be running for mayor, but he posted a sneaky post on his social media accounts, to vote for him and people did it. Aberg earned 3rd place in the elections and he needed few more votes to get 2nd place. After that, Aberg clarified, that he didn't want to be the mayor, it was a joke and he wasn't running for it seriously, but he thanked his supporters and promised that after he is done with his hockey career, he will return and become the mayor.
