Shawn Glade V's taste of playoff hockey

As quickly as it began for SG5, it ended. The Saskatoon Wild were swept in the first round of the VHLM playoffs by the Minnesota Storm this week. The defenseman tallied a single point the series, and had this to say during his exit interview in Saskatoon:

 

"It sucks, yknow these guys have worked hard all season and so many great memories in my short time here, and it comes to an end just like that. I feel like we had more to prove and didn't get to fully showcase our potential but that's just how it goes, one team has to lose and unfortunately it was us."

 

SG5 declined to comment on his sudden drop off in production during the series. He confirmed that he is headed back to Denver, Colorado to train in the offseason before the upcoming VHLM draft where he hopes to be one of the first few names called.
