Ori near a point a game as Minnesota sweep their way to the finals

Minnesota is in a rush to get these playoffs finished, making their way to the finals in just eight games, not one lose so far. Infact so far this rather familiar to long time Storm fans, back in season 70 Minnesota made it to the finals sweeping in the first two rounds and only loosing two to the Lynx, both looses came in overtime so the Storm didn't have a single lose in regulation. Is history on the verge of repeating itself? Only time will tell. For a bit more comparison though in S70 Storm finished as the top team with 125 points and faced the third place team in the Lynx who had 117 points. This time around Storm are third overall and will face either Yukon who finished first overall with 118 points or the Marlins who finished fourth overall with 103 points. That series is currently tied 2-2 between Marlins and Yukon.

Ori has been at a point per game pace for most of the playoffs, it was only after the most recent game that he fell under it again. 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points in the eight games, Ori is still the faceoff king for them having taken 297 and has a nearly 66% win percentage. We do feel their is an argument to be made for Ori being a secret weapon of sorts for the team, he's not leading the team in points but he is effective every game.
