Malmo got through their playoff round against Helsinki. That series saw them make an incredible comeback from being 2-0 down, to winning the series 3-2 in a best of 5. They met their match when they came up against Warsaw. The series started out pretty evenly, and even saw Malmo strike first and take a 1-0 lead, before surrendering 4 games straight. “It’s a really big improvement from last years season, I think lots of people are excited about going into next year.” Telker commented, after game 5 against Warsaw. The off-season will probably be a busier for Malmo, as they look to take a big step up next season. With the team now much younger then they are older, they can look forward to a few seasons of steady growth within the organization, so any good trades or free agent signings are just gravy on top going forward. Telker says he is taking a couple weeks to vacation with his family, before going into some more off-season training before getting into next season.
