In the upcoming VHL draft Armani Calamari is set to be an interesting prospect. A center from his hometown of Toronto who currently plays in the Minors for the Philadelphia Reapers, he has gotten many scouts attention with his great play and his positive attitude. He is currently projected to be an early to mid second round talent and it seems like his stock will only grow as time goes on. There were some concerns that he would get homesick outside of Canada but it seems like those concerns are being brought up less and less as time goes on.

In terms of his positive attitude it seems like Armani wears his heart on his sleeve. He is usually honest about his opinions on various situations but never seems to truly get upset. Even in various press conferences after losses he just comes off as disappointed rather then truly angry. Most of his teammates seem to regard him as a team player and an amazing locker room presence and they rarely have a bad word to say about the Canadian born center. He just seems to enjoy hockey for the sake of it and just wants to be in a position to be able to play more of it. He is definitely one to watch out for in this upcoming draft.
