I started the year with a lot of unknowns, I really didn't know what to expect. But coming out of this season I can tell one thing for sure - I have come out with a lot of things that I have learned and things that are left to learn.

I got to know an awesome community in D.C. They know how to joke and laugh but also how to win in regulation, not in overtime though. I guess that is something that's left for next season - how to win after regulation. I can say for sure, that D.C is my team and I love talking to every single one of them in the locker room. And holy smokes we have Juice, BigAl, and Eagles in the same team. That is the craziest thing. One thing that has made my life easier - I don't really need hours to think all of the questions for the press conference, I guess that is a thing that comes with experience, but it is something that I look forward to every week.

Eno taught me a valuable lesson that will hopefully help me out in the future - I sent in my first lines and I created my first lines. I think we had a positive record on the first day of my tactics, don't really remember the rest of the games, but I think they were pretty good. At least my line changes didn't really change our main strength - sniper defensemen. In this season they were insane. Juice just kept on scoring and no team didn't really have an answer for him. I think it's one of the highlights of the season - how many goals will Welch score this time.

One thing is for sure - I am really proud of D.C Dragons. A lot of people were counting us out at the start of the season, but I feel like we proved a lot of them wrong, we were always in a fight with every team, we made the playoffs, but in the end, lost in a good fight against a great team that is Seattle.  There is a lot of unknown stuff we will have to go through in the next season. Our offense is a huge question mark because we only have 2 forwards resigned for the next season, but I am sure we will sort this stuff out, Eno is the best general manager that I have assisted and I hope he will keep me occupied with work at least for one more season. I really enjoyed this previous season, I really tried to check on the team at least once a day and just go and talk some in the locker room. Sometimes it was harder than it would seem, but I think I can learn a lot from being AGM as a teammate or even as a person.

Thank you all for the season and it is time to take a breather in the off-season and then hopefully something bigger next season.
