A fan 590

These days kids don’t get the reference. Although if you weren’t from Toronto or listening to the radio 15-20 years ago would you get the reference? It seems a lot has changed. Is Bob McCowan still even on the radio?

 

the point is that if you’re going to do a fan590 article, it really should be a short podcast where you rant about how dismal the leafs are (and throw in some vhl content to appease the commissioners) but in essence that’s what the fan590 was all about. 
 

things were different back then. You’d actually need to look up a word in a dictionary to make sure you spelled it correctly. Can you imagine? The vhl is amazing and thriving now but somehow back towards its inception, it really did seem like simpler times and humbler beginnings. Good times.. but I’m also excited for the good times ahead.
