Mexico City Kings Roster Review
The season 80 VHLM season has been going on for a bit now so i thought id do a roster review of the Mexico City Kings.
@youloser1337 has been putting in lots of work building this team and trying to keep everyone involved and active, couldn't have asked for a better person to be AGM'ing for. Any way lets jump right into the topic.

1. Dookie Headtop.  Headtop has been a big part of this team so far not only does Headtop lead the team in points Headtop also is the best Defenseman in the league. Headtop is very active in the locker room, He is also one of the 2 players that were on the team last season.

2. Watson Stonebridge. Stonebridge has played a big role on the ice this season leading our forwards in points. Stonebridge is the 2nd player that was on the team from last season, its always nice having some veterans on the team to help these young guys out.

3. Matt Avens.  Avens is one of the new guys on the team that got drafted in the S80 VHLM draft. Avens played in the Junior Showcase Tournament and played extremely well in that tournament and is showing that skill in the VHLM so far you would almost think Avens has been in the league for years. Avens is also active in the locker room which is very nice as you get to know the person.

4. Wattson Power. Power is one of the Draftees from the S80 Draftees, Wattson played in the Junior Showcase Tournament as well and put on a good show and isnt showing any signs of slowing down even though he is one of the younger guys in the League he is sure keeping up with the more experienced players.

5. Nikolai Kopeloi. Kopeloi is a S80 Draftee and sure was worth it, Kopeloi all though he isn't the best player on the team he sure tries his best and still competes with everyone in this League it will just take some time to improve on some things but eventually Kopeloi will be a very good player.

6. Roman Von Zkikowski. Roman was selected in the S80 VHLM draft and was definitely worth getting as he has almost a point per game while playing a strong defensive game which is very good. Roman uses his big 6'8" body really well by blocking shots and hitting people, very happy with this pick.

7. Bryan Shores. Shores was drafted in the S80 VHLM draft. Shores isnt a huge point getter but he sure shoots the puck and throws his body around which is always good those shots could turn into rebound chances catching the goalie out of position. Shores has some things to work on in his game but has tons of potential.

 

8. Stanley Richard. Richard was a draft pick in the S80 VHLM draft. Richard does only have 1 point but is definitely more of a hitter and i guess you could say goon but every team needs a goon Richard helps when it comes to taking the puck away from the opposing team and giving our team the chance to get up the ice to have a chance at scoring.

9. Jacker Doodle. Doodle was signed off of waivers and we are definitely very glad he signed with us. Doodle has almost a point per game. Doodle has only played 11 games with us but he sure seems like he has played with these guys for a while, the chemistry he has with them is very good, i am very impressed with him.

10. Friendly Hermit. Hermit was our only Goalie we got in the S80 VHLM draft but was definitely worth it we would not be doing as good without having Hermit backstopping. Hermit haslots of potential i wouldn't be surprised if he becomes one of the top starters as long as he keeps practicing.

 

There is my roster review hope it was alright. I want to say im not here trying to be mean to anyone if it sounds like it i am very sorry. One last thing ive said this a million times but once again Thank You @youloser1337 for the opportunity to help you with this amazing team! I couldnt have asked for a better team everyone on his team is super kind and is very patient with us no one has treated us poorly and im sure i speak for both of us we really appreciate that.
Now onto the Season review through our first 16 games.

Season Review.
So far the Mexico City Kings are 9-5-2 Which puts us 4th in the western conference. We have had our good games and our bad but every team has those, there are definitely some spots where we can improve but its still early and no need to make any big moves right now. We have had some big wins over teams who were extremely hot at the start such as our win against Minnesota at the start where they were winning games with 9+ goals, we fought hard against them and brought home the win. I would have to say our season so far has been pretty good i'm certainly pleased with the results so far but we definitely have the team that could go far and wouldn't be surprised if we do, it just comes down to if we can keep our players motivated and willing to put in work to help this team try to reach the Cup but there are some very good teams we will have to face along the way. I would say the main thing we need would be some more defensive depth and maybe some more forward depth so we aren't having to tire our top players out.

That was my short and quick (probably bad) Season review. I wish all of the teams the best of luck and you all better be ready for the Kings to come kick some butt.

Review:  Appreciated the article for its ability to help me put a human face on a franchise which was just a team name and branding before.  Loved the positivity! Something we'll never have enough of.  A few typos (not capitalizing I on several occasions, running two words together, etc.) took me away from the content some, but it wasn't a huge issue.  7/10

I am horrible at writing and typing XD it has never been my thing. I appreciate the feedback

I love the attempt to put some ideas behind what has happening in Mexico City, but I think it would be interesting to see some of the stats and maybe just focus on 5 players and explain what they are doing good and what they could be improving on. 7/10
