Sky Hockey news are here to interview Helsinki's ppg right wing Gustislav Nasherov

Gustislav Nasherov! you are now on a ppg streak and have scored 24 points in 22 games! how do you feel about that?

It feels great! I am starting to achieve what I want in the VHL and I'm not playing bad!  Even though we are not winning much it matters more that we don't give up and try as hard as we can! right now we don't have the best team but we have still won 5 out of 22 which is because we never give up! no matter how bad it goes we never give up and in the end that will help us.  The new guys are also getting tons of ice time which is great for player development to turn them into even better players in the future! if we keep giving the new guys this time they will become vital players in no-time.

I see, what do you most look forward to this season?

Gotta be to see the fans at the arena.  Nothing beats a packed arena chanting for us, even though we are not playing the best hockey they are still with us, like real fans.  I am sure that it is not just me who loves to hear the fans jump up in happiness after scoring a goal or the tendy making a nice save, it really boosts the confidence of the team and helps us perform better.  I would also say that the draft is something I look forward to, it's always fun with the draft because we get to meet new people and get to know them.  Believe it or not we have even more draft picks this draft with 3 firsts and 4 seconds so I will surely meet tons of new teammates and new friends! I can't wait.

When do you think Helsinki will be playoff contenders again?

In the near future definitely, with the prospects we have gathered and the playtime we give them its bound that we will be battling for that sweet trophy, when is a question that can not be answered, it's a bad omen.  For example if I said "We will win in 2 season" and we do really well when we get to that final series we will get jinxed 0-4 in the series.  Never ever and I mean never has saying those words turned out good.  It is a much safer card to play if you don't specify when.  So my answer is in the near future because I don't want to jinx this team, I really enjoy being here and I really want to bring a cup home to Helsinki, if I do now or in 5 season we will never know but will it happen? yes and you can keep my word with that.

With that the interview is over.  We'll see you next time! good luck with team and whatever you are doing outside of hockey!

Thanks! have a good one you too!

Review: Love the article, love the format. Love the players response and his mentality. I’m looking forward to read more about you’re players in the future and good luck with the rest of the season. 8/10

review time: As a current teammate this was fun to read, I think you could have mentioned some teammates and prospect by name as I think it's always fun to see my name mentioned in a post but it's a small thing. I like that you used bold and a different text size for the guy asking the questions and you spaced it out nicely, fun to see the kind of character Nasherov is to. You didn't a good job here 8.5/10
